    Hi,

    I’m experiencing a weird problem – I’m using Galleria on a
WordPress site’s theme. if you open this page http://www.allatvancouver.com/eat/japanese/suika
on Google Chrome, when you scroll down a bit some of the elements
on the page disappear. But when you scroll down more they re-appear
    again.

At first I thought this is a memory problem. So I tried deleted
some of the images in the gallery down to 10. But the problem still
    exists.

This problem occurs in both PC Chrome and Mac Chrome. Any help
    would be really appreciated, thanks!

I don’t think this is caused by Galleria. Remove the
gallery and see if it persists. I suspect it has something to do
    with the layouts and floats.

@ECD I am using galleria 1.3.5 on a WordPress website and facing
same issue. As soon as the thumbnail carousel appears (after
scrolling the page) some of the elements on the page disappear
    including few thumbnails as well.

The problem no longer exists if I hide the div with
    class=”galleria-thumbnails-container galleria-carousel” through
display:none; Although that leave me with no thumbnails.

Can you please tell me how you fixed this issue?

    Thanks.

I am actually having the same issue, and appears to be specific
to 1.3.5 as I swapped it with 1.2.9 and it worked fine.

    Hello guys!

I’m facing the same issue and found out, that the
-webkit-transform in the imgs causes the problem. I fixed it for me
by removing following from the galleria-1.3.5.min.js:

    if(i.HAS3D){this.style.MozTransform=this.style.webkitTransform=”translate3d(0,0,0)”}

Using the classic theme the problem seems to be solved with that
    fix!
Though, the scrolling isn’t that smooth without the
-webkit-transform. But I think it’s better than having the bug of
    dissapearing content.
I’m posting this solution to other simiar questions as well.

    Good luck trying!
    Greetings,
    Muri

I have the same problem described
    here:http://support.galleria.io/discussions/problems/10439-galleria
and it works with your solution, but this is a bug and we hope it
    will be fixed soon.

Yeah, could be a bug in the translate3d rendering of Chrome /
    Webkit.
I have seen similar bugs on other pages using css transform, always
    appearing only in Webkit browsers.

@galleria team: please verify this issue and implement a
fallback that this bug gets prevented. Or implement an option to
switch safe-mode on and off when rendering galleria. (just some
    ideas)

    Greetings
    Muri

Thanks Muri, you saved my day. Removing the mentioned code
    solved the issue for now.

This also fixed a similar issue on my site with Chrome.

It should be rolled into the next release.

    Hi,
I had the same issue in a webpage with css3 animations via skrollr
    plugin.
    => I could’nt remove my css3 animations and it seems it wasn’t
the issue so i add a smooth scrooling plugin witch : 1: resolve
somes white elements in the bottom of the page during scrolling
2: smooth scrool in chrome PC.
One of theeses plugins works :
    https://github.com/im4aLL/chromeSmoothScroll/

    or
    https://github.com/simov/simplr-smoothscroll

    witch also works for IE11.
    Cheers
    Florent

    Hey Sid,

this is a forum related to the jQuery Plugin Galleria.
From what you described, I think this is a problem of your computer
and/or graphic card because it also happens in programs other than
    webbrowsers.

Your graphic drivers might be out of date. You are using a
laptop, right? Try to find the graphic / display drivers on the
    manufacturers homepage and install them.

For further questions, I would recommend searching Google for
the problem and forums like Tom’s Hardware.

Actually this problem is with hardware composition of rendering
3D. By using translate3d(0,0,0), you are actually setting 3D
translation for Z-axis to zero. If you have too many elements on
the page, then hardware sometimes doesn’t catch up and unable to
    refresh the elements.

Alternate method, is to provide the end user with an option in
settings to disable ‘HWComposition’ which will skip this line of
    code.
