I (like others) have a number of videos in my picasa albums.
These videos will load as You Tube videos in galleria (as You Tube
and Picasa are both owned by Google).
The Gallerio demo suggests that it will play videos without edit
to code. The downloads come with Picasa Plugins, but they are
unable to play the videos in Picasa – but galleria does play a clip
in the thumbnail and main image. See http://www.dorsetdog.com/galleria-slide-trial-in-google-sites.
The reality is that the video play button in the middle of the
video is missing, so there is no way to start the video playing
There is code missing from the galleria files to handle videos.
That includes the div of videoicon.
The galleria demo includes videoicon.js and videoicon.css – some
of which is hidden away in a second theme file of theme/twelve/#2,
and includes –
Perhaps Galleria would be kind enough to sort the picasa.js and
the css so that galleria will allow videos to play when displayed
as a part of the picasa album? Please?
Thank you
