    I attempted to post previous and it seems to not have worked, so
    here we go again!

    I have being trying to get Galleria to function with no luck. It
    is installed in the root directory /galleria/ (See image)
    My code is shown below: (The doctype doesn’t display correctly,
    loose.dtd”> is the end part.

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01
    Transitional//EN”
    http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd&quot;>

    The jquery test works fine, just not the galleria one.

    Do I need to change permissions on 1.4.2.js and 1.4.2.min.js or
    leave them as 644?
    If I need to change them, what permission set is needed?

    Appreciate any help on this.

    Regards;
    Stewart.

    I think the problem with this particular issue is that the
    script is pointing to galleria-1.4.min.js when it should be
    pointing to galleria-1.4.2.min.js (the .2. is missing).

    Hope that helps.

    Even with the correct filename syntax it still does not
    work.

    Is what I have now, and still no output at all. I have attached
    the actual htm file this time, maybe you can spot something I am
    missing.

    Ok, last one from me. But I finally got it to work on my test
    site. You have to make sure ALL paths are correct. I noticed that I
    had to not only update the 1.4 to 1.4.2, but also the script in the
    body itself needed to be updated to show the correct path to the
    galleria.min.js file and themes and all of that. They were not
    looking in the correct spot.

    I used the default extract file, then followed the beginner
    guide and just updated the paths and got the below which works
    now.

    Best of luck!

    <!doctype html>

        <div class="galleria">
            <img src="photo1.jpg">
            <img src="photo2.jpg">
            <img src="photo3.jpg">
        </div>

    </body>

    Ok I have eventually found the problem. The code above with the
    google link to jquery worked when I added that script address, but
    once I reverted to my local jquery it failed to function.

    I downloaded the latest jquery1.x version and now it works
    perfectly. I am just putting this here in case someone else has the
    same problem.

    The jquery I had was for a photo imaging gallery for my forums,
    as such it may be either outdated or coded specifically for that, I
    am no guru so I don’t know which.

    All I know is once I added the new jquery I downloaded from
    their site it worked!

    Thanks again for all your assistance, hopefully I won’t have any
    further issues with getting the gallery up and running.

    I am actually having a similar problem that you described. My
    paths are all correct but the 1.4.2.js simply doesnt display. If I
    switch back to the 1.2.7.js it does.

    Are you saying that with 1.4.2 the jquery needs to be updated
    for it to work?

    (Sorry, I am also not familiar with jquery or what to do with
    it)

    Yes I am staying with galleria-1.4.2.min.js/galleria-1.4.2
    It is working fine since I have updated the jquery.

    I have attached the jquery that I am using to this message for
    you. Simply FTP that to wherever you store your jquery/js.

    I just have a directory called /js/ where I put all JS files
    into.
    (Galleria is in it”s own directory)
