Hello,
Mostly Galleria just works fine on all kind of modern browsers
and I don’t have much issues with it. I have been using it for
years now.
But now Safari (on OSX Mavericks here) gives me some problems.
Everything works just fine, but after a while (at random)
Galleria freezes. A that given moment you can not switch the
pictures anymore. Not with the standard arrows, nor by clicking on
the thumbnails. Initially I thought I did something wrong in my
script, but then I used the “classic-demo.html” provided by
Galleria.io itself and I have the same issue. It just freezes in
Safari, but after a while (minutes, not hours).
I don’t know if this is a certainty, but mostly when Safari does
freeze, it does while the window is not in focus.
Google Chrome (also a webkit engine) does not freeze the
Galleria script. This is a peculiar issue, but it is most certainly
a issue that has to be corrected if you ask me.
Thank for reading. Karl.
