    Dear Galleria,

Up to 1.3.6, Galleria performed flawlessly in displaying my
flickr set on my gallery page (see above for link). However after
the Flickr API change, I downloaded 1.3.6. Since then, Galleria
works fine on my mac and PC (latest Safari/Chrome), but fails to
auto play on my iOS devices. Each thumbnail is highlighted, but it
doesn’t activate the corresponding picture, nor do I have any
manual functionality, i.e. the ability to select any images.

Am I doing something wrong? I’d really like to regain galleria
    functionality on my iOS devices!

I have now updated to 1.4.2 – but still the gallery doesn’t load
    on any iOS devices.

Please let me know if you need me to send you any more

    Many thanks in advance,

The gallery works fine on my iOS simulator, I don’t have an iOS
    device handy at the moment.

Could you please clear your cache to make sure there are no old
    conflicting files in your Safari?

Also, make sure you have updated the theme files and not only
    the Galleria files.

Thanks for your swift response Jakob.

I had updated the classic theme (I checked by seeing in the code
that it requires 1.4 or later), the flickr plugin and Galleria
    files to 1.4.2.

Following your advice, I cleared the cache on my iPhone 4 – but
unfortunately there was no change – the slideshow appears stuck at
the first image, while the thumbnails continue to auto-play (along
with descriptions). While it’s an older model, the software is up
    to date (7.1.2).

For the purposes of comparison, I did try an iPhone 5 and it
worked. I’ll test later on my iPad 4. If anyone else can try with
their physical iOS devices, I’d be most grateful. Most of my
traffic comes from traditional platform browsers (i..e. non-mobile)
and these work fine, so it’s not a massive issue, it would just be
nice for those occasional visitors to get the full experience.

Anyway, thanks for an otherwise amazing product!

Same problem. Failing as described on mine and friends iPads and
failing on iPhone 5. Works fine on PC and iMac.
