    You need to do several things

    1. Raise the stage by adding f.ex:

      body .galleria-stage{ bottom: 100px }

    2. Increase the bar:

      body .galleria-bar{ height: 100px }

    3. Enlarge thumbnails:

      body .galleria-thumbnails .galleria-image{ width:100px; height:
      100px }

    There might be more things you need to adjust, the best thing is
    to look in the generated source via firebug or developer tools and
    add CSS where needed.

    It would be nice if you could provide a new version where this
    is controlled via the options parameter, in javascript. I suppose
    it is a lot of work, but …
    Also, it would be super if you could provide an option for the
    opacity in the thumbnails. If I browse through the CSS it is not
    clear where I have to change, and I suppose it is several
    places.
    In general, thumbnails are way too dark and too small in the
    general themes.

    Great tool and all but this is a bit of a PITA. None of the
    suggestions to increase the thumbnail size seem to work. How is
    this not a feature I can pass in the run calls config?

    Opacity of images and thumbnails is controlled in the azur.css
    file.

    I’m at a loss as to why Support staff David’s advice is always
    gauge, and not always correct

    I use the free to download Firebug program with Firefox web
    browser to identify various parts of galleria. Photo shows the
    “Bar” area with a blue line around it.

    There is no need to add code to the html. Why talk of f,ex:
    other than to confuse people?

    In the Azur css file, change the Bar height and Stage height –
    then change the thumbnail size.
