Since version 1.2 Galleria has been downloaded over 2,500,000 times and is used in many large networks such as Los Angeles Times, AirBnB, Groupon, etc.
13,000 Premium themes sold
Around 10,000 customers bought over 13,000 Premium themes since they became available for purchase in 2011, and there were less than 0.2% refunds.
The galleria.io domain was purchased in December 2011 after using a subdomain for a year. At this same time the customer area and Galleria support section were launched.
Galleria has been constantly improving its codebase as web technologies evolve, adding CSS3 transitions, mobile compatibility, HTML5 attributes, video support and more.
To ensure future development and ongoing support the original developer Aino from Sweden transferred ownership to worse is better who will continue working on Galleria.
The successful combination of open source code like jQuery, real world testing and customer feedback has made Galleria one of the most compatible and easiest gallery scripts on the market that can be implemented in almost any environment. We'll make sure it stays that way.
